These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the provision of broadband internet services by Onecoop Broadband Services Private Limited (“Onecoop Broadband”, “Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) to its subscribers (“Customer”, “Subscriber”, “you”, or “your”). By applying for or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
- The applicant must be at least 18 years of age or apply through a legal guardian.
- The Customer shall provide valid KYC documents as required under applicable laws.
- Onecoop Broadband reserves the right to accept or reject any application.
2. Service Activation
- Services will be activated only after:
- Successful KYC verification;
- Technical feasibility confirmation;
- Payment of applicable charges;
- Installation completion.
- Activation dates may vary depending on network availability.
3. Broadband Plans
- Broadband plans are available as Monthly, Quarterly, Half-Yearly and Annual subscriptions.
- Plan details, speed, validity and applicable taxes are published by Onecoop Broadband from time to time.
- All prices are exclusive of applicable GST unless otherwise specified.
4. Fair Usage Policy (FUP)
- Broadband services are subject to Onecoop Broadband’s Fair Usage Policy.
- Unless otherwise mentioned in the selected plan, each broadband connection includes up to 3333 GB of high-speed data per billing cycle.
- Upon reaching the FUP limit, internet speed may be reduced (for example, up to 2 Mbps) until the next billing cycle.
- Onecoop Broadband reserves the right to revise FUP limits from time to time.
5. Installation Charges
- Installation charges cover labour, fiber deployment, configuration, testing and activation.
- Installation charges are non-refundable after successful installation.
6. Advance Rental Plans
- Customers choosing advance rental plans may receive promotional pricing or discounts.
- Advance rental is payable before activation.
- Once the service is activated, advance rental is generally non-refundable if the customer voluntarily disconnects the service before expiry of the committed period, except where required by law.
7. Monthly Rental Plans
- Monthly rental plans shall be billed according to the selected billing cycle.
- Failure to make payment by the due date may result in suspension or disconnection of service.
8. Equipment
Equipment supplied by Onecoop Broadband may include:
- Optical Network Terminal (ONT/ONU)
- Wi-Fi Router
- Power Adapter
- Fiber Patch Cord
- Other Customer Premises Equipment (CPE)
Unless sold outright, such equipment remains the property of Onecoop Broadband.
9. Security Deposit
Where equipment is provided against a refundable security deposit:
- The deposit is interest-free.
- It is refundable after disconnection, subject to:
- Return of all equipment;
- Equipment being in working condition (normal wear and tear excepted);
- Clearance of all outstanding dues.
- Onecoop Broadband may deduct the cost of damaged, lost or missing equipment and any unpaid charges before refunding the balance.
10. Customer Responsibilities
The Customer shall:
- Use the service only for lawful purposes.
- Not resell or redistribute the connection without written permission.
- Not tamper with company equipment or fiber infrastructure.
- Keep login credentials secure.
- Report faults promptly.
11. Service Availability
Onecoop Broadband will use reasonable efforts to provide uninterrupted service. However, service interruptions may occur due to:
- Planned maintenance;
- Fiber cuts;
- Power failures;
- Natural disasters;
- Government orders;
- Third-party infrastructure failures.
Such interruptions shall not automatically entitle the Customer to compensation unless otherwise required by law.
12. Suspension and Termination
Onecoop Broadband may suspend or terminate services if:
- Bills remain unpaid;
- KYC requirements are not fulfilled;
- The service is misused;
- Illegal activities are detected;
- There is unauthorized redistribution of internet services.
13. Customer-Initiated Disconnection
Customers may request disconnection at any time.
Disconnection shall become effective after:
- Verification of the request;
- Return of company-owned equipment;
- Settlement of all outstanding dues.
14. Refund Policy
Refunds shall be governed by the Company’s Refund Policy, including:
- Full refund where installation is not technically feasible;
- Non-refundable installation charges after installation;
- Advance rentals generally non-refundable after activation;
- Refundable security deposits subject to equipment return and deduction of outstanding dues;
- Refunds normally processed within 7–15 working days after verification.
15. Billing and Payments
- Bills shall be generated electronically unless otherwise specified.
- Payments may be made through online payment gateways, bank transfer, UPI, cards or other approved methods.
- Late payment charges may apply for overdue accounts.
16. Changes in Plans
Onecoop Broadband reserves the right to:
- Revise tariffs;
- Modify plans;
- Introduce or discontinue offers;
- Update FUP limits;
- Change promotional benefits.
Reasonable notice will be provided wherever required.
17. Privacy
Customer information shall be collected, stored and processed in accordance with applicable laws and the Company’s Privacy Policy.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Onecoop Broadband shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.
- The Company’s liability shall not exceed the charges paid by the Customer for the affected billing period.
19. Force Majeure
Onecoop Broadband shall not be liable for delays or failure in service caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, government actions, war, cyber incidents or power failures.
20. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts where the Company’s registered office is located, unless otherwise required by law.
21. Amendments
Onecoop Broadband may amend these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after publication of revised Terms shall constitute acceptance of the updated Terms.
